Colt has a vast musical background and began engineering while studying Music Technology at the University of Central Missouri.  After working with a host of local Kansas City artists including metalheads Insignifica and singer-songwriter David Paul, he mixed and produced for Tres Hanley's 2005 release Euro Diva.

Since then he moved to Chicago where he has been engineering and producing at Horse-Drawn with a variety of artists.  His work has appeared on releases by acts such as Manic under the Streetview Records label, Jose Lasalle, Andreus, and recent work for the Mustard Music label.

Colt has worked with string orchestras, big bands, metal bands, singer-songwriters, and hip-hop acts.  His musicality and vast musical tastes are his biggest assets.  His focus is on music production in pop/r&b and hip-hop, where his jazz background and fresh creativity make him a sought after in-house producer/engineer at Horse-Drawn.
